This is a mid century slate dish for ikebana inspired designs. It has cork feet with raise it off the surface a little giving it a light feel. Just slip a kenzan (metal pin holder) into the central space with some water and you are ready to arrange. This kind of dish is fabulous for making a design with just a handful of flowers. Think tulips or hellebores or any garden material.
