Large CH Brannam White with Blue Interior Rustic Mantle Vase

Large CH Brannam White with Blue Interior Rustic Mantle Vase
This is an early 20th Century mantle vase from CH Brannam who were an art pottery based in Devon who were very popular with the British aristocracy especially for ceramics for conservatories. They produced arts and crafts pieces that were sold in Liberty of London. This vase is made with the lovely rich red Devon clay that is typical of Brannam and appears to be press moulded like the early Spry vases.
It has a lovely clear white glaze with a pretty light turquoise interior.
Width 31cm
Depth 13cm
Height 13.5cm
No cracks, no chips, crazing. There is an underglaze c shaped flaw on the interior as well as a small line and two holes all done during production due to shrinkage and typical of press moulding.
